Manor Lodge, Millbrook

Holiday Cottage: 6283 Cornwall

Millbrook
Cottage's own web site
Manor Lodge is part of the oldest house in the oldest part of Millbrook. A grade one listed building dateing back to the 12th Century and part of the Mount Edgcumbe Estate, Charles 1 stayed here when he was hiding from the Roundheads.

The house backs onto farmland, which has public walkway and leads up to Whitsand beach or over to the historic fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.

Fully refurbished in 2008 to a very high standard and traditionally decorated, with ongoing maintainance to keep up our high standards.

Each room has its own unique en-suite with shaver points. Also freeview television and access to wireless broadband Internet, with tea and coffee facilities.

The laundry has washing machine and drier, as well as WC.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with guests only needing to ask if they need anything extra.
TV and DVD and small sound system.

Megan and Richard also run one of the three local village pubs. We enjoy meeting people and like to see them enjoying themselves. Safe for children, plenty off road parking.

Highlights
  • Off road parking.
  • Quiet and discreet.
