Waveney Valley Self Catering holiday cottages. Norfolk Suffolk borders.

Our 17th Century dog friendly Holiday cottages, situated on the Norfolk Suffolk borders, between the old Market towns of Diss and Harleston.

In the heart of the beautiful Waveney valley.

Our cottages all share over 2 acres of woodland and garden leading down to the banks of the river Waveney.

Fishing is available in season, however you will need a fishing license.

If your looking for a cottage where you can relax by the river,  enjoy watching wildlife,   bird-watching, walking, canoeing,  bike rides, a lovely pub a short walk away, and just taking it easy then this is the place.

Previous guests have enjoyed watching otters playing down by the river, we also have a growing population of barn owls, tawny owls in the area.

If you sit long enough  you may even catch a glimpse of the kingfishers going up and down the river, we look forward every year when our pair of swans bring their cygnets back to visit.

Springtime brings a beautiful display of snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, bluebells, tulips in the garden.

There's plenty of open area's to exercise your dogs. or there's an enclosed area if needed.
