Kiln How, Borrrowdale Self Catering Holidays, offers self catering accommodation in the heart of the English lake district.
Set in the beautiful Lake District valley of Borrowdale, Kiln How is an 18th century farmhouse which has been converted into 4 self catering apartments. A more recent addition is Kiln How Cottage, ideally suited for a self catering holidy for 2.
The farmhouse accommodation comprises 4 apartments sleeping from 2 to 6. Each apartment is comfortably furnished and fully equipped.
Our guests are welcome to enjoy the attractive garden at Kiln How, where it is a real delight to catch the last rays of the sun as it sets over High Spy.
The cottage and apartments at Kiln How are situated just 6 miles from Keswick in one of the most beautiful locations in the Lake District; many of our guests visit us several times a year to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Borrowdale valley.
Whether our guests stay in one of the apartments or in the cottage for a full week or more in the summer months or just decide to enjoy the Lake District, for a short winter break, we are always pleased to offer a warm welcome.
Our private parking ensures safe keeping of vehicles and many guests use their cars but rarely during their stay in the valley. With walks of all distances and levels available from the doorstep driving becomes entirely optional.
Within the attractive Borrowdale hamlet of Rosthwaite and a minute's walk from Kiln How, is a small village shop and a good local pub.
Whether your interests lie in walking, climbing, watersports, mountain biking, photography, fishing or simply relaxing in our private garden, your hosts Peter, Nicola and son Tom, extend a warm welcome to you at Borrowdale Self Catering Holidays.
