Brunt Knott Farm Holiday Cottages are 4 individual cottages sympathetically converted from traditional Lakeland stone and slate farm buildings clustered around Brunt Knott Farmhouse which dates from C17th.
Ideally situated midway between Kendal and Windermere, Brunt Knott provides both an away-from-it-all atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Lake District, and a convenient base from which to walk the surrounding hills or explore the National Park.
Benefiting from a peaceful elevated location nestled into the side of Brunt Knott Fell, the cottages are surrounded by unspoilt countryside with fell walks and a variety of wildlife on the doorstep. Enjoy the scenery or watch the cattle, sheep or our chickens from your window or wander up the fellside to our small tarn and gaze out over the fells and the valley below.
The decor is traditional: white walls, exposed beams and feature stonework. All cottages are well equipped with comfortable furnishings and floor coverings, colour TV, fully fitted kitchens with electric cooker, microwave & refrigerator. Duvets and bed linen provided. Cot available. Automatic washing machine and tumble dryer in communal laundry.
Electricity charged at cost by meter reading. Logs for open fire available.
