Stables cottage is an 18th century, homely country cottage in the heart of Ayrhire. There are many places to visit. Glasgow is a 30 minute drive away, Edinburgh one and half hours.

The cottage is bright and welcoming. We are a 15 to twenty minute drive from Ayr and Irvine and about ten minutes from Kilmarnock. There are restaurants, shops, cinemas etc in all these towns.


There are many castles, attractions and museums to visit in Ayrshire. We are situated in countryside ideal for walking or cycling on the quieter country roads There are also many famous golf courses nearby.
