Former home of the Lake Poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey, Greta Hall is now a family home and three extremely comfortable self-catering holiday options. Frequented by William and Dorothy Wordsworth, Lord Byron, Keats, Shelley, Sir Walter Scott and many others, Greta Hall has a unique literary history.
The buildings have been sympathetically restored and the structure of the house has changed little since the early 1800s - except some significant additions to the plumbing and heating!
