Fishermans Cottage

Tintagel
Quietly located in a National Trust area designated as an Area Of Natural Beauty, Fishermans Cottage is a half mile walk from Camelot Castle and the bustle of Tintagel.

It lies 400 yards from the north coast path and from the beautiful sea-washed sandy beach at Bossiney Haven. Listed by English Heritage as of historic importance, over 600 years old, and on the estate of Admiral Sir Francis Drake (local MP in 1590). More recently, the cottages were home to mayors of Bossiney and of playwright J.B. Priestley - undoubtedly the character of the main house and area inspired him to write 15 major works here.

Ample provision within the cottage offer a relaxing and enjoyable stay - down to the plump sofa, Egyptian cotton linen and thick towels, as well as amenities ensuring great comfort. There is fantastic surfing locally.

Cosy open-plan living room, with electric `wood-burning' stove and simple farmhouse-style kitchen area with electric two-ring hob and oven, Microwave, Fridge/freezer, folding table and chairs. Beamed throughout.
