The 3 bedroomed cottage is a recently renovated beautiful 18th Century barn nestling in a superb position overlooking Troutsdale. The spacious cottage is finished to a very high standard by local craftsmen keeping many of its original features along with supplying every modern convenience.
There are 3 beautiful bedrooms, two double and one twin each with ensuite luxury marble tiled bathrooms. One double on the ground floor, the other two on the first floor.
There is a spacious drawing room with comfortable cushioned sofas and a Chesney stone fireplace housing a feature electric fire. Double doors lead out to the outdoor patio dining area. A TV lounge which is equipped with LCD Television, Sky and DVD player and stone fireplace with feature electric fire.
The well equipped Dining Kitchen has hand built Stirling & Jones oak units with granite work surfaces and oak strip flooring. Kitchen equipment includes fridge, electric oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
North York Moors is a National Park covering some 550 square miles of peaceful rolling, heather-clad moor land and unspoilt valleys stretching from the Cleveland Hills in the west and then dropping steeply to the North Sea along a coastline famed for the old whaling port of Whitby and the seaside resort town of Scarborough.

Follow the A171 to Scarborough when entering Burniston turn right onto Limestone Road (signposted Hackness, Harwood Dale) continue forward onto Coomboots Brow then bear left onto Limestone Road after 250yds turn left onto Swang Road bear right onto Suffield Hill go straight ahead passed the Hackness Grange Hotel turn left into Estell Lane, Granary Cottage is the first building on the right.
From Thirsk:
Follow the A170 to Scarborough after 35 miles you enter the village of Snainton turn left before the Peacock public house into Nettledale Lane follow the road for 7 miles over the river and Granary Cottage is on the left.
From York:
Follow the A64 to Scarborough pass through Rillington Village over small bridge take first left (signposted Yedingham and Snainton) as you enter Snainton turn left before the Peacock public house into Nettledale Lane follow the road for 7 miles over the river and Granary Cottage is on the left.
From Hull:
Follow signs for Scarborough then follow signs for A170 Thirsk as you enter Main Street, East Ayton turn right onto Castlegate (signposted Forge Valley, Hackness) continue for two miles bear left onto Mowthorp Road turn left after two miles onto Broxa Lane then turn left into Estell Lane, Granary Cottage is the first building on the right.
