Bodanna Farmhouse

Newquay
Cottage's own web site
Bodanna Farmhouse is around 300 years old and is built on the site of a 13th Century Manor House, situated in a quiet backwater surrounded by rolling farmland, yet within a few minutes drive of the A30 trunk road, sited between St. Enoder, Retyn and Summercourt.

A five bedroomed farmhouse sleeping six people in comfort, with 2 double bedrooms, 2 single and a separate nursery. Full of wonderful period features, including inglenook fireplaces big enough to stand up in, flag stones, beams, two wood-burning stoves and oil-fired Rayburn for cooking and constant hot water. As well as all the "old stuff" there is also all the "modern stuff", halogen hob electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, automatic washing machine, fridge freezer. Each room is furnished individually in the cottage style with comfy beds and pretty fabrics and all the beds are made up ready for you. You'll find a complimentary basket of logs for your first night, more are available on the booking form.

Being within a couple of miles of the A30 makes Bodanna the ideal base for touring the whole of Cornwall, being centrally located. Newquay is only 6 miles away with all the wonderful North Coast beaches being within easy reach, many of which are National Trust owned, making your dogs welcome all summer. In around 20 minutes you can also be at The Eden Project (check out their website for what's on, always something), The Lost Gardens Of Heligan and so many others, too many to mention!
