Fen House is situated in the picturesque village of Pakenham, the only British village to have a working watermill and windmill. 10 Minutes from Bury St Edmunds the accommodation is set in countryside surrounded by fields, woods and footpaths. Yet only 5 minutes from several village pubs serving great food.

Within walking distance there is also a Suffolk wildlife trust bird reserve.
The holiday accommodation adjoins the main house with beautiful views of the landscaped gardens.

This 5 star rated accommodation is on two floors and sleeps 5, with 2 double bedrooms and 1 single, all with TV/DVD.
There is a Bathroom with Bath, double shower and W.C and a separate ground floor shower room and W.C.

The fully equipped kitchen includes washer/dryer, oven/hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.
The large lounge/diner has French doors opening onto a private patio and entrance to landscaped gardens.

Children are welcome and a cot can be provided, there is a large pond and waterfall in the garden and children should be supervised at all times.
There is ample parking for cars and secure storage for bicycles.

Directions
Heading East on the A14 take the second 'Bury St Edmunds' exit signposted A143 & A134.
At the bottom of the sliproad turn left at the roundabout.
At the next roundabout turn right onto the A143 signposted for Diss.
Go straight on at the next 2 roundabouts, driving into the village of Great Barton (30mph).
Upon leaving Great Barton, turn right just after the 'Bunbury Arms' pub, signposted Thurston, then turn immediately left signposted Pakenham.
Follow this road for approx 2 miles, through the village, passing the Fox Public House on your right, follow the road as it bears around to the left.
Take the next left into Fen Road, as the road bears around to the right.
Fen House is on the right hand side after half a mile.
