Slatters Cottage is a luxury Grade II listed self catering holiday cottage, parts of which date back to the 17th century, located in a quiet country lane in Bourton-on-the-Hill, near Moreton-in-Marsh. It has a wealth of character.

Ideal for those looking for a cosy romantic place to stay or, in fact, anyone who is looking for a delightful base to use for walking/touring the Cotswolds.

Downstairs the stone walled lounge has a beamed ceiling and a large inglenook fireplace with log burning stove. The cottage is fully equipped.

Upstairs are one double (5' pocket sprung mattress) with TV and one single bedroom, sleeping up to three people (plus baby in travel cot), with lovely views over the village and the surrounding landscape, and the toilet/bathroom with bath and shower-over-bath.

Local Services: Local amenities include the renowned gastropub, The Horse & Groom (remember to book in advance!) and Bourton House & Gardens. To either side of the village there is farmland, running down to the Batsford Arboretum and the Cotswold Falconry Centre.

You are also only a short drive (or walk along the Heart of England Way) to Sezincote and a few minutes drive from the Bourton-on-the-Hill site of the Cotswold Paintballing company.

The nearest mainline station is in Moreton-in-Marsh where there are also antique shops, gift shops, pubs, restaurants (both eat in and take-away), tea rooms and the Co-Op, Budgens (which makes home deliveries) and a Tesco's which also delivers.

Buses run through Bourton-on-the-Hill most days.

Directions
Car recommended. There are good motorway links from all directions with the M40 from London, the M6 from the north, M5 from the south & from the north east use the M1 and M42.

The cottage is two miles from Moreton-in-Marsh where there is a mainline station.
