Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, West Lane Cottage lies in the Piddle Valley, in an unspoilt village amongst picturesque thatched cottages. Piddlehinton boasts a lovely church, the welcoming Thimble Inn and Millennium Green with children's play area and picnic tables.
This charming cottage is well equipped and furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On the ground floor there is a porch leading to a sitting room with large character fireplace and electric 'woodburner', two double leather sofas, a storage coffee table and storage cabinet. There is a television, video player and DVD player with a supply of films.
This room leads to both the kitchen/dining room and to a second reception room which may be used for quiet reading or as a games room. This second room has a double sofa bed, a coffee table, a bookcase with a range of books (fiction, local history and walks) and a chest of drawers with a selection of over 20 games for you to enjoy.
Both reception rooms lead to a newly fitted kitchen with dining area. Here you will find an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge and freezer and all the kitchen equipment you need for a self catering holiday. There are plenty of cupboards, generous worktops and even a range of cookery books. There is a coat rack and space below to keep your wellies! A dining table and four chairs is at one end of this room adjacent to French doors leading to the garden.
There is a downstairs cloakroom.
The back garden has been laid with a mix of decking and hard landscaping. A wooden table and chairs are supplied with a parasol to enable to you to relax and admire the view of the village church. Outside lights are fitted to use on a summer evening. A lockable gate from the garden leads you straight to the nearest of a network of bridle and footpaths in the village.
On the first floor of the cottage, the master bedroom has a double bed with Sealy pillow top sprung mattress, 2 bedside cabinets with dimmable bedside lights, a chest of drawers and built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. The windows offer a view of The Old Rectory. There is an en-suite shower room with electric shower, mirror and shaving point.
A second bedroom has twin beds with sprung mattresses, a bedside cabinet and a built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelf. An iron and ironing board is supplied. There is a bathroom opposite the second bedroom.
The drive alongside the property has room for two cars.

Directions
Piddlehinton lies about 5 miles to the North of Dorchester and is best approached from the A35 from which it is clearly signposted. When you reach the village, turn off the High Street into Rectory Road (you will see the Church and the Village Hall on the corner). The cottage is on the right hand side.
