Artlegarth Country Lodges are located in the heart of the magnificent Cumbrian up-land countryside, with majestic panoramic views across Wild Boar Fell and the Howgills.
This is a unique unrivalled location - whatever the season.
We offer three lodges:
Mallard, Lapwing and Curlew, which are set in 7 acres of magnificent relaxing and private Cumbrian countryside.
These very spacious 4 star lodges are constructed from the very finest Danish Pine logs (not to be confused with inferior caravan type cabins), blending sympathetically into their surroundings.
Our lodges are all well furnished and centrally heated, making them warm and cosy during the winter months.
Each lodge has three good size bedrooms. One King-size with Colour TV, Bunk-room for the children and a Twin bedded room allowing each lodge to sleep a family of 6 very comfortably.
A welcoming lounge with three-piece suite. Wide-screen sky free2view Colour Television, Video, DVD and music system.
Patio doors lead on to the spacious, furnished verandas with incredible views of the surrounding countryside.
Artlegarth is bounded by dry stone walls, fringed on one side by a screen of tall pine trees, with driveways and ample parking.
An ornamental pond frequently visited by Heron and wild ducks.
A charming stream flows through the wooded area.

The region is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a wealth of activities on hand; walking, golf, riding, fishing and miles and miles of fell and dales and gently undulating country lanes.
