The holiday cottage is traditionally decorated and still features the original beams as well as French doors to the front of the building. It has a living/dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen includes a microwave, cooker and dish washer, kettle, iron and ironing board as well as cupboard space. All kitchen utensils are supplied.
There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine and fridge. The living area is spacious and comfortably furnished and sky is available on the television.
There is a double bedroom with en-suite and storage cupboards. Linen,towels,electricity and heating are all included.
Our holiday cottage is the perfect spot to escape from the busy world and have a well earned break in the tranquil hills of Dumfries and Galloway. As well as beautiful countryside walks and rural views to enjoy there is also the opportunity to explore and enjoy the abundant wildlife.
We are in the perfect location for touring as the cottage is just a 15 minute walk to the small village of Lochfoot complete with a post-office, shop and beautiful loch, which is perfect for a relaxing day of fresh water fishing.
If the quiet life isn't for you why not take a drive to the town of Dumfries, only 5 minutes away where you can enjoy shops, cafes, clubs and pubs. Or a 15 minute drive will take you to the slightly quieter food town of Castle Douglas.
