The Bothy is a single story stone building within the wall of Helmsley Walled Garden, overlooking open countryside on the outskirts of Helmsley.
It offers simple, comfortable self-catering accommdation and consists of a living room, kitchenette, a bedroom with twin beds and a shower room. It sleeps two people and is available for weekly lets or for short breaks between April 1st and October 31st.
Electric heating, bed linen and towels are included. There is a fridge, microwave and electric hob. The accommodation is suitable for people with disabilities having wheelchair access and disabled showering facilities.
Guests have free access to the garden during opening hours of 10.30am - 5.00pm and are welcome to help in the garden, which relies on voluntary help to maintain its high standard.
The Vinery cafe in the garden serves locally sourced vegetarian meals.
Situated at the start of the Cleveland Way; The Bothy is an ideal location for gardeners, walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting to explore the North York Moors and Coast.
