Located near Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town, in the west of Dumfries and Galloway, the two luxury holiday cottages, Wigtown Cottage and Galloway Cottage, are spacious and beautifully decorated, elegant and contemporary.

Wigtown Cottage is adjacent to Galloway cottage, sleeps up to four
and is open plan, with a fully fitted kitchen/dining area leading into a large lounge with patio doors, onto the back limestone patio, which has it's own garden furniture and barbeque; there is also a cloakroom on this floor.
Upstairs accommodation consists of one large romantic double bedroom, with en-suite bathroom; this room has patio doors leading to a private raised patio and lovely views over open farmland to Wigtown, perched on the hill.
The second bedroom upstairs is a twin bedded room, with a small en-suite shower room.
Galloway Holiday Cottage, sleeps up to six and also open plan, with a luxurious large and airy lounge that leads into fully fitted kitchen/dining area, with patio doors onto the black limestone patio; also with its own garden furniture and barbeque.
On the ground floor, there is a lovely airy double bedroom, with large adjacent bathroom and separate shower; this bedroom also has doors onto the patio.
Upstairs accommodation, consists of one double bedroom, with a small en-suite shower room; this room has spectacular views of the Dumfries and Galloway Hills and Wigtown Bay, from it's large window /door and Juliet balcony.
The second bedroom upstairs is a twin bedded room with small en-suite shower room.
Both cottages have under-floor heating throughout and a flue-less gas stove in the lounge area; a large television, DVD player, CD player with Mp3 playback; various books, CD's, DVD and games are also provided for your enjoyment.
The luxury holiday cottages are furnished with Italian leather sofas, solid oak dining furniture, solid oak beds with Relyon mattresses and have original artwork by a local Dumfries and Galloway artist.
In an enclosed courtyard, you will find ample parking space and a play area for children; there is also a separate drying room, with secure storage for bikes or golf clubs etc.
What's included - Free welcome pack including: crusty bread, fruit, wine, tea and coffee, herbal teas, hot chocolate, milk and sugar, local newspaper, barbeque charcoal.
