A stay in the Lake District will offer you a relaxing and peaceful taste of the best of England's beautiful mountain scenery

With endless miles of walking trails over high fells, the peaks of Scafell Pike, Scafell, Great Gable, Helvellyn, all draw the more hardy walker. Whilst the less adventurous can enjoy and marvel at the glory of lakeshore walks through wooded areas of outstanding natural scenery.

We can offer the adult visitor to our area, a high standard of accommodation with accompanied walking, tailored to your own requirements. Leaving you to just enjoy your stay in the Lakes.

You will be based in our own delightful self-contained two-bedroom first floor modern apartment, situated within a small mews with allocated parking. Picnic tables and garden furniture are available for your use in our enclosed courtyard area.

Your apartment will be fully equipped and serviced ready for you to just walk in, relax and enjoy your stay. All bedding will be included as standard, plus a welcome box of basic necessities.

With views over the tranquil village and onto the Solway Firth and Scotland, a peaceful stay is assured. Situated just 2 miles from Loweswater's shores, easy access to the fells is but a stroll away.

When taking a rest day from the fells, the Lake District offers many attractions to visit and places to explore.

    From M6 J40 take A66 to Cockermouth. Left onto A5086 for 6m and take left to Loweswater and Mockerkin .In village take first left to crossroads, straigt on up Sosgill Rd for 100m then right up drive to Mockerkin Mews.
