Coachingmans is exceptionally spacious and warm, comprising the lounge and kitchen on the ground floor, separated by the quarry tiled hallway with two latch cupboards for hats, coats and muddy boots.

The spacious lounge has two sofas, original stone fireplace with coal effect heater, wide screen TV with Sky Freesat, DVD and Ipod Docking Station. The kitchen is light and spacious with pine table and chairs and all appliances including washing machine, electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The king-sized bedroom has a double bed and is simply furnished to create a warm, comfortable and relaxing space. The bright white tiled bathroom with partial hillside views, has a white suite and over-bath shower, modern cabinets and a shaver point.

Outside there is a private enclosed yard with its original cobbled and flagstone floor, plenty of room for bike storage. Sit and watch the house-martins nest in the chapel eaves or the Red Kites flying above.

Eating and Drinking
Coachingmans has the luxury of being doors away from a superb hotel and restaurant (Castle Coaching Inn). A lovely warm, comfortable place to eat, drink and relax after your day exploring. Additionally, Trecastle has its own local village pub for after dinner drinks. Numerous delightful restaurants and mountain view pubs and tea rooms can be found in neighbouring areas.
Coachingmans guests are encouraged to recommend places they enjoyed during their stay in the visitors book.

Trecastle Village and Around
Coachingmans cottage is centrally located in the village of Trecastle and sits just doors between the village Chapel, hotel restaurant with the local village pub nearby. There is a popular antiques centre and locally run tea rooms.

Sennybridge and Dyfynnog villages sit approximately 3 miles from Trecastle, which host a grocery store, petrol stations, cafes and tea rooms and village pubs. Attractions aside from spectacular local and mountain range walks include walking and cycling around the Usk Reservour, Red Kite Feeding Station, Craft Shop and a Retreat Centre for pampering.

Brecon and Llandovery market Towns are approximately 15 miles from Trecastle. Brecon and surrounding areas host countless activities and places of interest to visit including; theatre, museums, art gallery, cinema, leisure centre, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, golf, pony trecking, bike hire, canoeing, kayaking, guided walks and boat trips from the canal basin.
