The Cottage

Warwidk
Leycester House Farm is located in the glorious Warwickshire countryside, on a ridge overlooking the valleys of the River Avon and the River Leam, just half a mile outside the pretty and historic village of Harbury.

The Cottage sits next to a Victorian farmhouse and has beautiful southerly views across the hamlets of Chesterton and Kingston and beyond to Lighthorne Heath, home to the Heritage Motor Centre.

Originally built as a groom's cottage, around 1900, The Cottage has recently been renovated to provide cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to four people. It has new carpets and tasteful, good quality curtains and furnishings.
Heating is by electric night storage heaters and an open fire in the sitting room. Hot water is by immersion heater. There is a small (unfenced) garden area with a timber picnic table.

Ground Floor:

Breakfast Kitchen: with table and four chairs, narrow double oven, narrow dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board. Leading to:

Bathroom: with washing machine, airing cupboard, steel bath with shower over, w.c., basin with vanity unit and heated towel rail. Kitchen also leading to:

Sitting Room: with small sofa and two chairs, colour flat-screen TV with DVD player (some DVDs, books & games supplied) and fireplace for real fire (wood not supplied). Staircase leading to:

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: With king size double bed (5') and wardrobe. N.B. the accommodation offered at The Cottage is 'characterful' and the door to this room does not open fully.

Bedroom 2: With twin single beds (each 3') and wardrobe. A foldaway travel cot is available, but we do not recommend The Cottage for more than four persons in total.
