At The Riding we provide high quality 4 star self catering accommodation sleeping between 2 and 4 persons all with ensuite bedrooms.

Our accommodation provides a relaxed spacious country style combined with modern luxuries fully equipped with quality furnishings and those little extras to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Delightfully situated on a working family farm surrounded by countryside ideal for family holiday's short breaks or the business traveller all will enjoy the peace and quiet and won't believe how close they are to everything the North East has to offer only 3 miles from the A1M.

We are perfect for the North East's cities of Newcastle Gateshead Durham and Sunderland are an easy 20 minutes and everything they have to offer. Beamish Museum County Cricket Ground at Chester le Street and The Angel of the North are all on the doorstep you can see The Angel of the North from the farm yard.

Further afield explore Hadrian's Wall Alnwick Gardens and the Northumberland coast all under an hour.

The farm has its own network of footpaths cycle ways and bridleways providing ample opportunity to enjoy and explore the local countryside and its wildlife.

Directions
From the North or South:
Exit the A1 at the Team Valley Trading Estate exit (South) Sainsbury's is on the roundabout.
At the roundabout take the exit to Lamesley.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit.
Take the first left.
Take the first right The Ravensworth Arms is on the right hand side corner.
Follow the road into Kibblesworth passing The Plough.
Continuing on this road until you leave the village.
Once you have left the village take the 2nd left exit, sign posted Riding Lane and no through road.
Follow the road passing Cooper House on your left until the end of the road we are the farm steading at the end. Welcome.
