Bank Cottage is a recently refurbished 19th century cottage set in the quiet and scenic Staffordshire countryside with wonderful views across Staffordshire and Shropshire.
It is located approximately 1 mile to the north east of the county town of Stafford (ST18 0AH)
The cottage offers 2 reception rooms, 2 spacious double bedrooms, a new kitchen with all appliances, large bathroom and downstairs WC. It is fully furnished with gas central heating as well as a wood burning stove in the main reception. It also offers off road parking for two cars.
The cottage is set in 1/5 of an acre of newly landscaped gardens giving opportunity for entertainment, reflection, relaxation and seclusion in equal measure. There are 3 separate patio areas, a decked area in front of the studio annex, a large lawn and covered seating area.
Having two large double bedrooms, we can cater for 2 to 4 people.
The cottage is on the outskirts of a small village called Hopton, approximately 1 mile to the north east of Stafford.
Stafford is the county town of Staffordshire, it is a fantastic base for a holiday planned around travelling in England and specifically the Midlands. It has wonderful transport links as it is 2 miles from Junction 14 of the M6 motorway. Stafford Railway Station (on the west coast mainline) is only 10 minutes away.
In terms of location there can be no better place to get to see the whole country - Birmingham 30 miles, Stratford-upon-Avon 45 miles, Manchester 50 miles, Welsh Coast 70 miles, Lake District 100 miles, London 125 miles. London by train for instance is only 95 minutes away.
For short breaks, Staffordshire boasts the country's premier theme park in Alton Towers and the world famous potteries, 20 minutes away by car.
In our neighbouring county of Shropshire we have Ironbridge and in Derbyshire we have the picturesque Peak District.
