Our Thatched Cottage is situated amidst the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside, with peaceful walks down quiet country lanes from your doorstep.
It is located in the hamlet of Polwarth three miles from the town of Duns, which provides all the amenities to make your stay convenient.
Thatched Cottage is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Northumbrian coastline and countryside and to enjoy all the local attractions that the Scottish Borders has to offer.
The cottage is full of character and at the same time has all the modern features to make your stay relaxing.
The kitchen/sitting area has an unusual vaulted ceiling and contains a log burning stove, providing a warm relaxing space where all of your party can be together, so that no one is left alone in the kitchen.
From the kitchen is the conservatory, leading into the large lounge, also with a log burning stove.
From there the spiral staircase leads to the upstairs bedroom having a king size bed, large velux windows where you can gaze at the stars on a clear night. Off the landing there is an en suite with a large shower.
The second bedroom is situated on the ground floor, which has its own bathroom.
The cottage sits in large lawned gardens, with a burn running the full length; on fine days it benefits from sunshine from sunrise till sunset.
Anyone who enjoys getting away from it all and enjoying the tranquillity and wildlife of the countryside will find The Thatched Cottage a little haven.
The Thatched Cottage is only available for adults and children over the age of 16.
