Enjoy the chance to feed the animals at a traditional farm cottage which is fully modernised to be cosy and comfortable to sleep 2 - 6 people in spacious accommodation.

Guests are offered the chance to join in with animal feeding the lambs, calves, cattle, ducks, hens and pigs if they wish.

Ideal location to explore North Cornwall and North West Devon at anytime of the year. We are approximately 5 miles from the A30, with a choice of several beaches around Bude within easy reach. Carey Gate is situated 4 miles from the Cornish town of Launceston on the Cornwall/Devon border, 5 miles off the main Cornish trunk road the A30 just inside the Devon border.

The cottage offers the following:

A large garden for guests sole use with roundabout, swing and see saw, as well as room for football.

Three bedrooms - double, twin, adult bunks cot, highchair and stair gate all available. 2 bathrooms - one with shower, one with bath.

Two sitting rooms - one in the form of conservatory overlooking the fields, one with a wood burner stove.

Two televisions, freeview, VCR with large selection of films, DVD, good selection of children's games and books.

There is free WI FI broadband access in the cottage for guests who wish to bring their own laptop.

A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, cooker etc.

Above all there are no hidden extras to pay, heating and electricity are included.

Pricing and Opening Times
Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

All our prices are fully inclusive of VAT, heating, electric, linen and the chance of bringing a dog to stay. Prices below are per week.
November - April price reduction possible if 2 guests wish to stay.

Peak Season: £575.00.

Low Season: £320.00.

During January / February / March 2009 we are offering short breaks for 4 days (3 nights) for up to 6 people + cot £175.00 fully inclusive. This price is reduced to £140.00 for 2 guests. Arrival/ departure times to suit guests for short breaks. 3 Night short breaks can begin Thursday or Friday to suit.

We offer 5% off to returning guests and are happy to consider offers for last minute availability..

We are open all year round.
