A granite built detached property in an idyllic location, on a quiet lane with stunning views of Hameldown and just 1 1/4 miles from the village of Widecombe in the Moor.
It has a very homely feel, enhanced by the woodburning stove and full central heating, making it a perfect base from which to explore the dartmoor National Park.
Access to the moor where the public may walk and the cattle and sheep wander freely amongst the native wild ponies. (Some of which wander into the garden on occasions!)
Dartmoor countryside really is England at it's best.
Although our cottage sleeps up to 5 people. most of our guests are couples, wanting to 'Get Away From It All'.
