Few Cornish cottages can boast such an idyllic location. Burnt Toast Cottage is a delightful self catering cottage, perched on the top of the cliffs above Lamorna Cove.

It is situated far from any main road, at the end of a long track in the tiny hamlet of Kemyel Wartha; there is no pollution from light or noise, apart from the birds singing or the occasional sound of a passing fishing boat.

Enjoying complete tranquillity, Burnt Toast Cottage is a real retreat - just the place to get away from it all and relax. Every principal room enjoys lovely sea views and at night it is quite lovely, to just to watch the twinkling lights of the passing boats, or to sit at the garden table looking up at the stars.

Constructed using local granite under a traditional slate tiled roof this pretty, detached self catering cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and was originally built in the late 1800's.

Having undergone a complete and sympathetic refurbishment in 2007, Burnt Toast has been equipped throughout with high quality furniture and appliances. The cottage has double glazed sash windows and been restored to the highest modern standards, whilst retaining original features, such as stripped pine woodwork and granite beams. Sleeps 5.

Highlights
  • Sea views from all principal rooms.
  • Coastal path location.
