Tigh na Breac is situated on the shore of Loch Etive near Oban, Argyll, on the West coast of Scotland. Oban is approximately 25 minutes drive from the house and is regarded as the 'Gateway to the Isles' Oban has a thriving harbour, plenty of good shops, bars and some fantastic seafood restaurants.

The main house has a hallway entrance with cloakroom area and shoe storage area, adjacent there is a separate loo and shower room. The hallway opens into the main spacious vaulted living area. There is a floating hearth with log burner. The living area has comfortable seating for ten, a piano and modern stereo with CD player and iPod connection.

The large very well equipped modern kitchen has plenty of storage space, double dishwasher, large Fridge Freezer and massive induction range cooker (5 ring cooker with 2 large ovens and a large grill) There is also a Quooker (express hot water machine - no Kettle required!!!) The adjoining dining area has a built in wine cooler and a large refectory table, which easily seats ten.

The views from this open plan living and dining area across Loch Etive are breathtaking; the house is south west facing so you will see amazing sunrises and sunsets. The windows are fantastic positions for hours of wildlife/scenery watching or sketching.

The house has porcelain tiles and oak flooring throughout with under-floor heating and a fresh air ventilation system in every room. There is wireless broadband access.

Above the kitchen is a stunning gallery bedroom with three roof light windows, super-king-size bed and en-suite loo and shower. The light and views from this room are outstanding. At the opposite end of the building is a comfortable Studio Gallery with large sofa bed, and wash hand basin and the same window arrangement and stunning views.

Downstairs is the Morning Room with large flat screen TV and DVD player, books and games and comfortable seating for ten and access via French Doors to the decking. The decking is a main feature of the house and is 2.5 metres wide and wraps around three sides of the house.

Off the Morning Room area is the Master Bedroom with 7' by 6'6" double bed, large bathroom with large bath and very large shower cubicle with a tiled built in seat.

The double Fern Room (twin or super-king size layout) with adjoining loo/shower room is also situated off the Morning Room.

At the back of the house is access to the Boot Room, where you will find a drying room and utility area (extra fridge, washing and drying machines).

The west side living area has it's own front door in the original stone porch - above which you will see the 1907 keystone. Inside you will find a large living room with log burner; comfortable seating for eight and access to the deck. This level is also open plan and includes a spacious dining area and off this is a fully equipped kitchen, with double oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. There is a downstairs loo/shower room and a large cloaks cupboard.

Upstairs there are a further two double bedrooms: The Black & White room with views to southwest has a super king-size double. The double aspect Green Room has views to the southwest and the back of Ben Cruachan, large guest bed allowing twin or double bed arrangement, and a window seat.

The upstairs bathroom has a shower/bath, heated towel rail, and plenty of storage.

The Glen Etive-Way Foot Path Starts at the House and extends for 11 Miles up Loch Etive (Stunning walk) to Glen Etive and Glen Coe.
Local Services: Bus to Oban twice a day from outside House
Ferries to most Wescost Island from Oban - Timetables seasonally dependent.

Directions
From Glasgow Airport: take the M82 to Erskine Bridge
Follow Signs to Erskine Bridge A898 - Cross over Erskine Bridge and follow signs to Loch Lomond A82 - Continue along Loch Lomond until Tarbert -
Turn Right at Tarbert A82 North
Continue along Loch Lomond side and up to Crianlarich - at Crianlarich turn Left onto A85 North. carry on until Tyrdrum - Just after Tyndrum take left on the A85 to Oban.
Continue on A85 Oban - Passing Loch Awe and Dalmally and then to Loch Etive side.
At Connel Bridge turn right at Oyster Bar Restaurant sign-posted for A85 (Fort William)
Once over Connel Bridge take the (immediate) first right (Bonawe 9 Miles)
Carry on for 9 Miles and you will see Tigh na Breac on the hillside - Happy Holidays.
