Grove Cottage is an ideal self catering holiday cottage for a family with the beach, children’s play ground and the swimming pool with spa and sauna facilities just a short walk away and the many activities and attractions offered by the local area including the ever popular seaside town of Silloth. The Lake District Coast Aquarium, The Wave Centre and The Gincase as well as the other popular attractions of the Lake District, such as Bassenthwaite Lake within a 30 minute drive. Grove Cottage is also located close to two golf clubs at Maryport and Silloth just 3 and 6 miles away respectively.
Allonby is located between the harbour town of Maryport and Silloth in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Allonby has a long sandy beech, with fine views across the Solway Estuary to the mountains of Southern Scotland. The Cumbrian Coastal Way passes through the village, and the many miles of green sea-banks are enjoyed by walkers. (A Smuggler's Route once ran through the village.)
Grove Cottage also benefits from the unique upstairs lounge with sun deck to the front accessed from the stairs in the yard.

Grove Cottage is fully central heated and benefits from wooden flooring through out the cottage, entrance via the front door provides access to the living room with lounge and dining areas.

Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen has everything which you would need including: gas hob and oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge-freezer and microwave. The kitchen also has a breakfast table with seating for four.
Storage Room: Ideal for coat hanging and storing shoes.
Shower Room: With shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.
