The Potting Shed and The Brew House

Cottage's own web site
Blue Door Cottages at Sherwood are 4 pleasantly quirky comfortably equipped self-catering holiday cottages for couples and small families, to enjoy on an individual basis but also form an ideal group for larger families and friends to enjoy each others' company while providing the
space and privacy people need to really relax.

Between them the 4 cottages can easily accommodate 12 people and beds for groups of up to 16 can be arranged subject to agreement with the owners. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The cottages, Hen House, Potting Shed, Brew House and the Wine Cellar, are newly converted from redundant out-buildings at Sherwood. Guests have loved the away from it all feel.

The cottages are set in about five acres of a rather overgrown woodland garden, which is surrounded by fields and backs on to a valley of mature forestry commission woodland.

Each cottage is available for 7 day Self-Catering stays or short breaks/weekends. You can select start dates to suit your requirements. See tariff/availability.

Set on the lower slopes of the Quantocks along narrow winding lanes but only 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5, Sherwood is a great place to relax, but also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and some of the attractions of the surrounding counties.

Directions
Leave M5 at junction 24 and follow signs to North Petherton.

Just after the 30 limit there is a sign to Goathurst
pointing to the turning on your right (Old Road).

Follow this road in roughly a straight line up
through the back of North Petherton there will be
another sign-post indicating Goathurst.

Take the lane out of North Petherton continuing in a fairly straight direction up the hill. Do not take first lane to the right, you could get to me but you probably wouldn't for some time!)

Take the second lane on the right (sign-post indicating Goathurst) this lane seems to go on for ever but you will pass Huntstile Farm on your right then go down a short hill and up a bit, around a bend and Sherwood is on the next
bend.

There is a barn with BIG BLUE DOORS on your left. Turn into the main courtyard through gateway on bend, and knock on the middle door or phone me if nothing happens. Mob 07990956561
