Welcome to Green Pastures, our wonderfully cosy self-catering croft cottage on the Isle of Skye, with its stunning views over the sea to Trotternish and the Outer Hebrides. The cottage is situated in the tiny crofting hamlet of Gillen, on the Waternish peninsula, in the North of the Isle of Skye, and is surrounded by 6 acres of its own croft land.

The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms; one a king size double, the other a spacious twin room.

There is a large lounge with wood burning stove, a brand new fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and all modern facilites with underfloor heating, and a newly fitted bathroom with large rain-shower over the bath and underfloor heating.

The cottage also has a boot room/utility room, and a spacious entrance hall. As well as the wood burning stove, the cottage is warmed by oil fired central heating, plus the under floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom.

There is a safe garden with seating and a vegetable patch, as well as 6 acres of croft land to run about in!

Directions
Once on Skye, Take the A87 to Portree and continue on the A87 through Portree to Borve.
At Borve take a left turn onto the A850 signposted Dunvegan and Waternish.
Continue on this road through Edinbane and approx 5 miles after Edinbane take a right turn onto the Waternish peninsula on the B886.
Continue on this single track road through Stein and follow the road round to the right at Stein.
In the small village of Hallin take a right turn signposted Gillen and Geary. Follow this single track road up over the hillside and approx 500 yards after the school on the left, take a right turn signposted Gillen. The cottage is the 6th house along on the right.
