A picture perfect typical old Whitby cottage, Poppy cottage is on the delightful little narrow Cliff Street, just off Flowergate. The cottage built in the 1800s is a charming little 3 bedroomed mid-terraced Georgian building, newly restored and refurbished.
It offers a wealth of charm, with all modern fixtures and fittings. It has a small sitting room with gas, log effect stove. A larger airy kitchen with room to eat, shaker fitted kitchen units, Belfast sink, fitted hob and oven on a solid wooden work surface.
First floor double, beamed bedroom, front of street windows. Second bedroom is a single, with views of sea and over the town and towards the abbey.
The third floor has a spacious bathroom with full bath and shower over. Toilet and wash hand basin, velux window.
Bedroom 3 is a small single, sliding sash window with views over the front.
There is a small yard garden to the rear, which is a little suntrap in warmer weather. Outside garden furniture and small barbeque available in the summer months.
It should be noted that the stairs are quiet steep.
Full gas central heating / all linen supplied.
A cottage for 4 people, sorry no pets, parking is not available outside and you will have to park in car park nearby or off street parking nearby.(It can be very busy in the summer months).
