Steephill Cove with a beautiful beach, restaurant and the Ventnor Botanic Gardens can be reached by the coastal footpath. An easy stroll east along the sea wall, takes you to the pretty village of Bonchurch where Charles Dickens wrote part of David Copperfield.

Further afield the Island has many beautiful walks and cycle rides.

There are tourist attractions to suit all ages and tastes, from Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle to theme parks, such as Black Gang Chine and Robin Hill.
