The Old Wharf is a single storey cottage tucked away in a quiet corner of the Grantham Canal in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, just outside the village of Plungar.
Three Victorian cottages have been carefully restored to create one unique holiday home with huge ceiling beams , some exposed brickwork and relaxing colour schemes.
There are three double bedrooms (one is twin bedded), two bathrooms, both with bath and shower but one has a separate shower cubicle, a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer and microwave,. There's even a bread maker!
The large lounge dining room has a huge inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove, perfect for winter evenings, and in the summer you can open the French windows onto the decking and enjoy the sunsets or feed the ducks and swans.
The cottage is an ideal base for visitng the local market towns of Melton Mowbray, Grantham and Newark and is also an easy half hour's drive to Nottingham, a must for shopping or a lively night out!
