Our cottage in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore is the ideal location for exploring the North Devon coast. Book a fishing trip, go crabbing on the Quay, take a leisurely stroll exploring the maze of narrow streets and enjoy browsing through the art galleries and craft shops.
For the more adventurous, 5 minutes away by car is Westward Ho, where there is surfing and bodyboarding. The South West Coastal Path and the Tarka Trail cycle path are both easily accessible from the cottage.
Gannets Nest is an attractive Victorian fishermans cottage in Irsha Street. The cottage backs directly onto the estuary and has both a terrace and a balcony overlooking the water.
Accommodation: The cottage is arranged over three floors.
Lower Ground Floor: Large sitting room with sofa and doors leading onto the terrace which overlooks the sea. Bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Utility room with washing machine, microwave and small freezer.
Ground Floor: Light and airy sitting room featuring a wood burning stove and with Freeview TV. Double doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the estuary with table and chairs perfect for watching the boats sailing by. Kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and dining table and chairs.
First Floor: Attractive master bedroom, which overlooks the estuary and twin-bedded room. WC and handbasin.
