The Garden Cottage at Quenby Hall sleeps 6 in three designer-decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds, with recently re-fitted bath-shower rooms, cosy living room with electric flame-effect fires, iPod-CD friendly Roberts sound system. beamed ceiling and well-appointed kitchen.

The Cottage is part of the Quenby hamlet consisting of working farm, three tenanted cottages, stable yard and Quenby Hall and its gardens.

Fluffy bathrobes and generous towels, Egyptian cotton sheets, hairdryers and complimentary bath products, take hospitality the extra mile.

Welcome breakfast basket with fresh bread and croissants, home-produced honey, fruit, ground coffee and herb teas make you feel genuinely looked after, while you are given complete privacy.

Located at the heart of the Quenby Hall estate and 3 quarters of a mile up a private drive, the cottage is on the farm and next to the livery stableyard only a stones throw from Quenby Hall itself.

It is the perfect retreat from the rat race for a group of friends or a family, a world away from the city and a romantic destination for couples wanting a secret hideaway.

Pretty market towns like Uppingham and Oakham for antique hunting and interesting shops, Market Harborough for the Foxton Locks and the Hallaton Treasure, Melton for great local food and genuine farmers market.

Lots of recommended pubs and local eateries. Golf, fantastic trout fishing on Rutland Water and Eyebrook Reservoir, horseriding, historic places to visit.

Wonderful walks on the doorstep with maps provided, and much more in the surrounding areas of Welland Valley and Rutland.

Directions
Directions from London and the South
Take the M1 junction 21A towards Newark.

From the North via the M1
Take Junction 22 (A50). Follow A50 towards Leicester. At roundabout with A46 turn left towards Newark.

At Syston roundabout (Hobby Horse pub on right) follow signs for Syston town centre. At 'T' junction where signs point both left & right to Town Centre, turn right towards Barkby. Continue to follow signs for Barkby (NOTBarkby Thorpe). Continue through, on to Beeby. At crossroads (Beeby on your left), go straight on to Hungarton. At Black Boy Pub on right, turn right and go downhill through Hungarton on Main Street, which becomes Barley Leas. Exit Hungarton with village hall on right, playground on left. Drive to Quenby Hall is situated at the top of the hill, straight ahead at the sharp right bend.

Directions from A1 and the East
Take A47 at Peterborough turnoff from the A1, c.40 mins towards Leicester, pass crossroads to Melton (North) and Harborough (South). (Billesdon is off to the left). Take next small right turn off A47 signed to Keyham, Hungarton and Ingarsby. At 'T' junction turn left and immediately right towards Keyham. After 1.5miles, turn right towards Hungarton. Bottom of the Quenby Drive is on right at left hand bend.

From Leicester
Take A47 towards Peterborough for c.5 miles. Beyond Houghton on the Hill, after c.1/2 mile turn left, signposted to Quenby Hall. After c1.5 miles turn left, signposted to Quenby Hall, then after c1 mile first right signposted to Quenby Hall and Hungarton. Quenby Hall drive is clearly marked on the right before entering Hungarton village.
