The Granary was once a store for grain attached to Westview, once the farmhouse, which is now a private dwelling.

The Granary is situated in Shiptonthorpe, midway between York and Hull. making it an ideal base for exploring the local area.

The Granary is a self contained cottage having gas central heating, fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with two single beds, bathroom(sorry no shower)and lounge consisting of TV, free view, DVD player settee, table and chairs.

Shiptonthorpe has many attractions and is only a short bus ride or drive away, also Pocklington(approx 5 miles),with its Burnby Hall gardens and lakes. York (approx 15 miles)is steeped in history including The Minster,the railway museum, the famous Kirkgate Museum and the Bar Walls to name but a few.

The Granary is in an ideal location, being easily accessible from the M62 or from the A1079. It is perfect for walkers as it is at the gateway to the Wolds with its many interesting walks; also ideal if you just want a quiet and relaxing break.
