Located 3 miles south of the small town of Campbeltown with its bustling harbour and whisky distilleries, this comfortable and spacious traditional farm house with sea views to Davaar Island, the Kilbrannan Sound, Arran and Ailsa Craig has been tastefully restored to provide an attractive holiday venue.
Surrounded by dramatic scenery and within 100m of the beach, the house has a homely feel with a well equipped kitchen, a large sun room, and is popular with families and groups of friends.
Located in the centre of a working organic sheep and beef farm, the house is peaceful and secluded but there are opportunities to get involved for interested visitors. A small hydro scheme provides green power to the cottage and the farm is proud of its environmental credentials.
The enclosed garden with barbeque and garden furniture provides a sunny and secluded area for relaxation. There are 5 golf courses nearby including Machrihanish with its famous first hole and the newly built and acclaimed Machrihanish Dunes.
Campbeltown has shops, restaurants and a large leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, a working art deco picture house and the Linda McCartney Memorial Garden. Nearby is the Mull Lighthouse, and ferries to the islands of Gigha and Arran.
