Directions

From Oban:
Take the A816 south. At Kilmelford turn left by "The Village Stores & Quaich Cafe" onto a narrow, single-track road (signposted Lochavich 6 miles) which climbs steeply uphill before levelling out as it winds past a small loch. Keep following the road (there are no turnings off it!) until you drop down to Loch Avich. Our pine lodge, Kilmun, is situated half way along the loch on the right hand side of the road, about 1 mile past the Forestry Commission picnic site at Dorlin Point.
From Lochgilphead:
Take the A816 north. At Kilmelford, turn right by "The Village Stores & Quaich Cafe" and then follow the directions as given above.
