Directions
From Southampton to East Cowes:
Proceed to Floating Bridge and cross to West Cowes. Medina Road is directly off the Floating Bridge. Turn left 50 yards into Bridge Road. The rear entrance to the cottages is from Bridge Road through Samuel Whites Estate main gates.

From Portsmouth to Fishbourne / Lymington to Yarmouth:
From Newport take the A3020 to West Cowes. Newport Road, Mill Hill, Medina Road, Bridge Road. Turn left 50 yards into Bridge Road. The rear entrance to the cottages is from Bridge Road through Samuel Whites Estate main gates.

Red Jet passenger cat:
The Red Jet departs from Southampton's Town Quay for West Cowes every half hour throughout the day, reducing to an hourly service after 8.00pm. On arrival in Cowes you can choose a five minute taxi ride or a ten minute walk to Point Cottages.

If you are on foot, come out of the Terminal and turn left. Walk all the way along the High Street and down Shooters Hill. When you reach the end turn left, (police station on your right and you will be facing the Duke of York Pub). Walk along Medina Road and Point Cottages is the very last building on the right hand side (next to the floating bridge - do not get on this!!)

From London Heathrow:
Book an airport taxi in advance or take the National Express coach from Heathrow to Southampton (approximately 2 hours) and pick up a local taxi to the Red Jet passenger cat (5 minutes).

From London Gatwick:
Book an airport taxi in advance or catch the train from Gatwick to Southampton Central (approximately 2 hours) then pick up the frequent bus service to the Red Jet passenger cat (5 minutes).

From Southampton Airport:
There are flights from some European cities direct to Southampton. From Southampton Airport take the train to Southampton Central (10 minutes) or a taxi direct to the Red Jet terminal at Southampton's Town Quay (20 minutes).

By train to Southampton Central:
Trains from London Waterloo leave every half hour and the journey takes one hour and 20 minutes. There are regular trains from all other parts of the country. At Southampton Central railway station there is a frequent bus service to the Red Jet passenger cat at Town Quay (5 minutes).

By Car:
There is a choice of car ferries from Lymington, Southampton and Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight. The Red Funnel ferry from Southampton to East Cowes arrives conveniently close to Point Cottages. There is limited free parking at the Cottages.
