From Halifax and the East:
Continue on the A646 through the centre of Hebden Bridge;
Climb up a rise to traffic lights, straight on and descend;
Take 2nd right into Church Lane.

From Todmorden and the West:
Approaching Hebden Bridge on the A646, pass under railway bridge;
Continue past green fields and retirement flats on left;
Before starting to climb, turn left into Church Lane. Then Climb past the church and continue upwards round sharp blind bends;
The last bend after Glen View terrace is a right angled right hand bend; Continue up, over a water gully and Beware Horses signs, then immediately turn left, almost a hairpin, on to a gravel track and engage 1st gear;
(If you reach a double hairpin on the tarmac road, you have missed the turning!)
Climb through woodland to a plateau, ignoring houses above on the right;
As you enter Lower Rawtonstall, the Manor House is the 3rd on the left.
