Runie Lodge, Ullapool
Runie Lodge was built in 1851 as the local school and schoolhouse. It ceased being a school in 1941 and has since been refurbished, retaining original stone features, oak beams, stairs, floors and opens fires.

Nearest airport is Inverness approximately 65 miles.
From Inverness:
Follow the A9 to the Tore roundabout then the A835 to Ullapool. Runie Lodge is situated 7 miles north of Ullapool; continue on the A835 until you reach Strathkanaird, approximately 100 yards after the village sign turn left into a single track road to Blughasary. Runie Lodge is 150 yards along the track and is the first large white house.
