Directions

Travelling from North or South on the M6 leave via junction 41 and at
the roundabout follow the signpost to the A6 (Carlisle /Penrith) and
the brown Heritage sign towards Stoneybeck Inn. Travel to the next
roundabout and take the left exit for the A6 signposted Carlisle
(Stoneybeck Inn is on the right as you leave the roundabout). Remain on
the A6 and drive North driving past the village of Plumpton.After a few more miles
you will arrive at the only piece of dual carriageway. At this point
there is a road sign for Armathwaite directing you to make a right turn
across the dual carriageway. You will see a large flagpole just ahead
of the junction. Take the right turn and follow the winding road until
you come to a T-junction. Here take a right turn and you will pass
under the Settle-Carlisle railway viaduct into the village of
Armathwaite. take the first right turn and over the river Eden,"views from the bridge are breathtaking" bare left up the hill and then turn left through the winding lanes at the T junction turn left and then after a short drive left again sign to Cumwhitton drive to the hart of the village to find Fell View.
