Directions
By Road: The M62 motorway crosses the Pennine moors 5km to the north of Marsden. Traveling westwards from Leeds and the M1, leave the M62 at Junction 24 and follow the A629 to Huddersfield and then the A62 for 7 miles (in the direction of Oldham).

Going east on the M62 from Manchester and the M6, leave the M62 at Junction 21 and follow A640 to New Hey and Denshaw, A6052 to Delph andA62 for 5.5 miles (in the direction of Huddersfield).

Bus
Daily local bus services connect Marsden with Holmfirth (via Meltham), Oldham and Manchester (via Standedge, the Pennine Way and Uppermill) and Huddersfield (via Slaithwaite).

Train
Local train services operate hourly every day between Marsden station and Manchester Victoria (30 mins), Huddersfield (10 mins), Wakefield Westgate (40 mins) and Leeds (44 mins) where there are connections with the national rail and coach networks.
