Ardtornish is 35,000 acre estate on the Morvern peninsula, close to the Island of Mull. (a 15 minute ferry ride).
Our self-catering accommodation consists of the grade 'A'listed Ardtornish house, which is split into 5 letting apartments from the 12 bed South Wing to the 5 bed Garden Flat.
We also have 6 letting cottages, sleeping between 4 and 18. Information on these properties can be found on our website.
Ardtornish abounds with wildlife. The BBC's 'Natures Calendar' programme on otters was filmed here as have Channel 4 programmes on diving in the Sound of Mull and 'wild food'.
Otters, pine marten, red deer, sea and golden eagles, seals, porpoise and occassionally dolphins are resident here as well as 135 different species of bird.
Walking in the local hills is a delight; you could walk for days without meeting another soul. Ben Nevis and Glencoe are only an hours drive away offering some of the best mountaineering in Scotland.
The Sound of Mull is one of Europes best scuba diving destinations and the local, Lochaline Dive Centre offers air and mixed gasses as well as a stock of essential equipment.
The BBC's Natures Calendar website describes Morvern and Ardtornish as the 'best kept secret in Scotland'. I live here and I couldn't agree more. No crime, no pollution and no stress - and very few people!
