Barnyards Cottage is a 150-year old country cottage, situated in a very rural quiet location, close to Dunbar and only 25 miles from Edinburgh.
The cottage has exposed wooden beams and an open log fire. It has been fully refurbished and modernised to a very high standard, but still retains its traditional character.
Barnyards rustic charm, together with its up to date appliances and comfortable furnishings bring a certain ambience to your holiday. You will not be disappointed.
The cottage encompasses an excellent lounge, high quality kitchen, very elegant bathroom, a minstrel gallery and two bedrooms with coombed ceilings.
Outside there is a lawn at the front, a rear garden with patio and shrubs, garden furniture and BBQ. Storage shed for cycle and outdoor equipment. Parking.
Local attractions include Championship Golf Course, Surfing, John Muir Country Park, Sailing, Rock Pools, Water Sports and many First Class Beaches all nearby.
Dunbar and the surrounding area is frequently one of the sunniest places in Scotland.
Local historical places of interest include 700 year old Dunbar Castle and Roman Fort.
The city of Edinburgh, with its Festivals, events, attractions and castle, only a 30 minute drive or 20 minutes by train.
Note - log fire dependant on appropriate fuel being available. Logs are available from owner, who retains the right to restrict use, if fuel type is inappropriate. This is for all our safety as very few people have experience of open fires.

From the AI Expressway, at the Spott Roundabout follow road signs for Spott, continue through the village past the bus shelter. At the end of the village is a 3 sided square of cottages. This is The Square - Barnyards is at number 6.
