We offer comfortable home-living in our 250 year old stone-built cottages in the countryside, on an historic rural Estate.
The cottages are converted former workers homes such as the Maid's House and Butlers and sleep from 2 - 7, or you can choose several together for a family gathering.
Located in the Clyde Valley we are an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh and provide a good touring base, for visiting Central southern Scotland and the Borders.
We are a working farm and produce our own local and fresh venison, beef and lamb, with no food miles for sale in our farm shop.

Directions
Transport to the area can be by coach - London to Abington and Edinburgh to Biggar.
Local buses run every hour from Biggar to Eagle Gates, Lanark and return.
Trains connect to Lanark from where one can hire a local taxi.
Most people will prefer to have a private car available to fully explore the district. We are very accessible being only 4 miles from the M74 motorway. Parking outside each cottage is on hard standing with room for 2 cars easily.
