Orchard Cottage is in the former walled garden of Newtimber Place, a 17th Century moated house. It is situated in the small downland village of Newtimber about 7 miles north of Brighton.
There are extensive views of the Downs. It is ideally situated for both those who want a countryside location and within easy reach of the facilities that the city of Brighton and Hove can offer. The Cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms;
One king, one Double and one Twin. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a separate shower and bath; the twin bedroom has its own shower room and toilet (not ensuite) and the downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath.
There is a fully fitted kitchen with the usual appliances including freezer, microwave, washer/dryer machine and dishwasher.
There is parking for 3 cars. The rear garden is fenced securely for children. Children and Walkers are very welcome. Weekend/midweek breaks available during the winter.
There are lots of walks nearby and the cottage is within the proposed South Downs National Park.
