The Granary Overthwarts is a detached cottage located at the end of a private drive in rural Northumberland. It has stunning uninteruppted views across the countryside towards the ruins of Edlingham Castle and the magnificent disused viaduct.
This is an ideal location for walkers, cyclists, pets, painters and anyone who loves country pursuits. It is also very close to the famous Alnwick Gardens and Castle - film set to Harry Potter and Blackadder.
The cottage has been fully refurbished to include 1 king size double room with ensuite, 1 standard double and 1 twin room. The kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances to make the stay at The Granary as comfortable as possible.
Pets are more than welcome with the added advantage of a public footpath through open fields just two meters from the front door - a dogs delight.
At the bottom of the paddock infront of the house, there is a babbling brook with pools and ponds ready to be explored. This is a great place for families and picnics.
