Nestling in the idyllic South Hams in the superb village of Tuckenhay on Bow Creek, Bank Cottage is the quintessential grade II listed thatched cottage. It has a charming courtyard garden next to a turbulent stream.

Inside under the thatched roof is an inviting hideaway that will delight you. Tuckenhay is a 10 minute drive from Totnes and 15 minutes from Dartmouth. There are two good pub restaurants in walking distance, both serving excellent food and overlooking the creek, the closest the Maltsters Arms, was once owned by celebrity chef Keith Floyd.

Accommodation: The front door opens into the cosy open plan living area with original beams and wood burning stove set into a large fireplace. Comfy furniture, dining table and chairs, TV with DVD, CD player, pine kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice box.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, one double and one single overlooking the garden and stream, bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and basin, washing machine/dryer. Back door to parking space.
Pretty courtyard garden with barbeque and table and chairs.
