Swallow Cottage, Laugharne

Holiday Cottage: 4300 Carmarthenshire

Cottage Front

Laugharne
Swallow Cottage is an attractive two-storey barn conversion completed in June 2003, which is well equipped and furnished to a high standard - a real home from home. The cottage is heated by storage radiators and panel heaters so is really cosy but we make no charge for electricity and we consider our price to be very reasonable compared to other cottages in the area.

This Welsh holiday cottage is situated within a very quiet conservation area of the ancient medieval township of Laugharne (famed for its association with Dylan Thomas) and is on the picturesque Taf estuary. A very peaceful position but within an easy walk of all the facilities Laugharne has on offer.

The property has three bedrooms, a lounge with TV, video, DVD and HiFi, a kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer and a bathroom/WC with shower. The property comfortably sleeps four with a good double bed/settee in the lounge for extra visitors.

Although we don't provide bedding and towels, as most people are happy to bring their own, we can arrange this for overseas visitors at a small additional charge per person.

The cottage has the benefit of parking for two cars adjacent in our private car park with steps leading up to gated back garden. This makes it very easy to unpack and go in the back door without having to walk all round to the front door every time.

Ideally situated for a family holiday exploring the beautiful Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire coast and countryside with lots of tourist attrations only a short car ride away.

Laugharne is a great place for a week or shortbreak to just chill out, relax and recharge your batteries - like so many of our visitors, once you try it, you will want to return year after year.

Please ring us on our landline or mobile -01865 373879 or 07803 149807 - if you wish to find out more about the cottage. Alternatively you can email us at swallowcott@gmail.com when making an enquiry and we will be only too happy to email or post a Brochure Pack to you with details of the cottage including Price/Availability and Booking Form. If you decide to visit please complete this and return with the £100 per week deposit.

The balance is payable one calendar month before your holday at which time we provide our visitors with a comprehensive Information Pack.
The key will be sent under separate cover for security reasons.

On arrival our guests are greeted with a personal Welcome Message and Bottle of Wine, Long Life Milk and when possible flowers. Guests are welcome to make use of anything left in the kitchen cupboards - ie Tea, Coffee etc.

Also please note that because we let and manage our own property we only charge realistic rates and not the over inflated prices that holiday letting companies charge. In fact, we think our cottage is one of the most reasonably priced in this area and we make no extra charge for electricity, pets or our welcome gift as we want to make it a good value and happy experience.
That's probably why we get so many returners year after year.
