Aylets' Annexe is a self contained, contemporarily furnished one bedroom home, behind a large village house. It is suitable for 2 people and is ideal for a walking or cycling holiday or just a simple weekend break in the country. It is on the edge of Barham Downs in a beautiful, quiet, rural location. There are many excellent walks within easy reach in this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Dover Ports and the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone are 15 minutes drive away. Barham itself has a church, shop/post office and a good pub. Canterbury, with its many attractions, is just 5 miles away.

Dressing area with additional hanging space/storage
The kitchen area is fully equipped and has oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment
(approached via a spiral staircase)
This is a large, light room with windows overlooking Barham Downs and the Elham Valley. The bedroom has two 3 foot single beds, ample hanging space and storage.

There is an area of garden to the rear of the property for use by visitors. Table, chairs and BBQ are available. A shed for storing bicycles and drying facilities are also available on request.
We regret that we cannot accept pets as pheasants rule the roost in our garden.
We are keen to encourage green tourism and are working towards certification for that. We would be happy to arrange local bicycle hire for you.
